  • In Memory of....
Alon- shown with his adopter in the photos above is a unique story of how people came together with CLC RR and restored not only his health, but his trust in humans.
In the first and third photo, Alon is shown in his weak and neglected state, the state he was in when he first arrived at CLC RR.  In the second and fourth photos, you see him, a short 8 weeks later, healthy, and loved by his devoted adopter and foster during the healing process.
A lot of people stepped up for Alon and Wren, giving cash donations, supplies, and sending prayers to help with their recovery.  One special woman, their foster, dedicated herself to restoring their health, and adopted Alon as her own.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

PUPPIES AND KITTENS!  OH MY!

Picture
Puppies from the Navajo Nation exploring green grass for the first time in their lives! These pups were the second batch we took in from the Navajo Nation. They are highly intelligent and very sweet dogs. The Navajo People are working hard to resolve a terrible situation of overpopulation on their lands, and we are honored to be able to help, even though our efforts are so limited. We wish we had more resources to help them out more often.

We always have need for kitten and puppy fosters in addition to foster homes for adults pets.
Kittens and puppies are so much fun to foster, and we love active families who can help socialize them and prepare them for their new lives.  It is a lot of work, but if you want to make a huge difference- this is the best way we can think of!

Can you spare a little change? Even $5 per month will help us out!  You can send a cash donation to Platte Valley Ranch Supply in Saratoga (they take credit cards too!), PO BOX 988, Saratoga, WY 82331 or call them at (307) 326-5283, to help cover the expenses for feeding our puppies, dogs, cats and kittens.  They offer us a generous discount and it helps us to know that they are getting nutritious food!  Let them know it is for CLC RR and they will apply it to our bill!

Table- spread the word!

Picture
Summer is the time for getting out and mixing with people!  Several events throughout the summer give us the opportunity to spread the word about our organization, and recruit more foster homes, adoptive homes, and other volunteers!  If you can volunteer for at least an hour on weekends or evenings, and love hanging out at some of the fun events throughout the county, this is a perfect opportunity to do some good!
